The Deventrade Group, Founded in 1991 in Deventer, The Netherlands / Europe, took over the Stanno brand in 1994. A niche brand operated in the Northern part of Italy since 1930 and specialist in hand gloves at first. Deventrade already had licenses in several European Countries for the following brands;
- Hummel, sports apparel
- Select Balls
- Derbystar Balls

| 1997 |
Deventrade decided to establish a complete StannoSoccer textile range for the English market. After the instant success on the English market, Deventrade introduced the complete Stanno range in other European countries, Stanno International.

Deventrade introduced the Field hockey brand Reece into Europe AND Introduced the Stanno brand in the USA market.
