For an optimal fit, the seams of the fingers and thumb are on the outside.  The elastic wrist strap prevents penetration of dirt and give a good grip. For good ventilation mesh - nylon is used between the fingers. The anatomically placed grooved latex on the backhand provides the perfect surface for punching the ball; traction and protection exactly where you need it.  Frog model provides a bigger foam surface and gives more grip.
